Bordertown High School students have been ‘cool’ for years.

This was due to a mix-up of architects plans in 1958. Plans were sent to the wrong school hence the building was pegged out facing South instead of North. It was decided to leave it that way as it mean the hot summer sun shone into the corridors not the classrooms.

Phew!! That was a relief, especially as there were no air conditioners.
