Reading an excerpt from the local paper of Tuesday, 25th April 1903 (the Adelaide Advertiser) it was reported that at the Kingston Rabbit Factory
- 3,000 pairs were received
- 300 were treated
- 4,000 tins produced
and there were
- 12,000skins hanging in the new skin shed drying for export.
I was amazed and staggered at the quantity and what a big industry it was for a small town in those times.
